Sue Paterson MA VetMB DVD DipECVD FRCVS is a veterinary dermatologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for her contributions to clinical practice in the field of Veterinary Dermatology. 

Sue has written seven text books and contributed to many others. She has more than 90 refereed publications in English, European and American journals. 
She has lectured extensively in more than 60 countries including at national and international meeting in the USA, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.  
Sue served on RCVS Council for twelve years from 2014 to 2026 and was President of the RCVS in 2023-4. She is a past president of BSAVA and ESVD and current president of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology.  

Sue’s charity work is important to her, she is Vice Chair of Trustees at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Chair of Trustees of the Animal Charity Pharmacy and incoming Chair of RCVS Knowledge.
