By collaborating with organisations nationwide, we're helping create more services and spaces that welcome those experiencing homelessness with their pets.
StreetVet is a national charity providing free accessible veterinary care and support to those experiencing homelessness and thier pets.
Homelessness is rising and can take many forms, from rough sleeping and sofa surfing to living in temporary accommodation. Up to one in four people experiencing homelessness has a pet, often their closest companion and source of unconditional support.
Since 2016, StreetVet has been on the frontline, helping keep pets healthy, happy and with the people who love them.
StreetVet exists to protect the powerful bond between a person and their pet, breaking down barriers that prevent individuals experiencing hmelessness with thier pet from accessing the care and support they need.
Free accessible veterinary care where it's needed most
We provide free essential and emergency veterinary care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness across the UK.
Through volunteer delivered outreach clinics, StreetVet clinical team support and our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, we help remove barriers to accessible veterinary treatment and pet-inclusive accommodation and support services, protecting the powerful bond between people and their pets.
We will use everything you give – in cash or kind – to provide much-needed veterinary care and support to the pets of those experiencing homelessness across the UK.
