My fundraising journey began at university. What started through volunteering and organising events quickly led to a career in the charity sector. I have since worked across a range of different charitable causes and I now run the York, Harrogate & District Branch of the RSPCA. 

Becoming a trustee for StreetVet felt like a natural fit for me because the charity combines two things I care deeply about: animal welfare and supporting people facing difficult circumstances. I’ve always believed that pets are family, and for many people experiencing homelessness, their pet can be their main source of companionship, stability and unconditional love.  

I’m excited to support the organisation as it continues to grow, reach more people and make a lasting difference.
