Emily Berry
Hostel & Day Centre Co-ordinator (South)
I joined the StreetVet team in 2021 to develop and promote our Accredited Hostel Scheme. Since then, the scheme has continued to grow, supporting the pets of people experiencing homelessness across a wide range of settings. I’m proud to see the positive impact our work is having with local authorities, housing providers, and frontline services as we work together toward a more pet‑inclusive future.
My background spans both frontline and operational roles within the animal welfare and veterinary sector. Moving to StreetVet felt like a natural transition—its mission aligns closely with my own values and long‑standing passion for animal welfare.
Outside of work, my rescue dog and two horses keep me busy—according to them, there’s no such thing as too much mud. To unwind, I love exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside, taking part in charity runs, and spending time on my art.
Being part of StreetVet means a great deal to me, I’m continually inspired and humbled by what we can achieve together to change the lives of people and their pets for the better.
